As an eleven-year veteran “How do I get into the games industry?” is a question that I receive quite often, one that I thoroughly enjoy answering for those who have a real passion to learn more.

My story started in 2001 when I got my foot in the door of a fantastic company called Mythic Entertainment as a Technical Support Lead.  We were preparing for the launch of a Massively Multiplayer Roleplaying game, Dark Age of Camelot, a game that is still active and thriving today! I moved from tech support to design and ultimately to design management leading the development of expansion packs for the game as a Content Manager

In 2005 we began the creation of Warhammer Online: Age of Reckoning and I was given the opportunity to start the project on day one as its Content Director.  Prior to launch, I took on the role of Live Producer, preparing for and supporting the live service, and ultimately became a Producer for Mythic Entertainment.

In 2009 I moved across the country from Virginia to Northern California to join Paragon Studios as a Senior Producer to develop an unannounced project.  Prior to the unfortunate closure of Paragon, I was the Studio Director of Development responsible for managing the development efforts of City of Heroes and two unannounced games.

In November of 2012, I joined Riot Games, a world-class developer in southern California.  I am currently a Senior Producer working on League of Legends.

Today I remain as excited and passionate as ever about coming to work each day to develop compelling games with incredibly talented people.   I have been blessed throughout my career to work with great folks on truly incredible products, and I hope to pay it forward by sharing what I can with you in order to help you find the job of your dreams.
